Not at all! I haven't really had to work for- I don't know, over nineteen hundred years? It's different!

That is a long time... But still, I can't ignore the physical signs that you're overdoing it.

You're either overworked or you naturally look sick, you can't have it both ways.

It's one of those things where, yes, that's the case, but you don't necessarily have to bring it up! It's the way I am and it can't be helped. It isn't my fault I have trouble sleeping, that isn't being overworked, only an issue plenty share, that can certainly make you look sick without illness!

In that case, shouldn't you be looking into sleeping spells or medication?

It's...more that actually being asleep is uncomfortable. And I can deal with it, so there's no reason to use medications or anything, that would just be a waste.

If it's a deep sleep it shouldn't be uncomfortable for you.

Rather, it would probably be better to say it's largely anxiety.

...Hm. That does leave you in a difficult situation - you need to sleep anyway but sleep's uncomfortable...

I try to just wait until I really need to. Which isn't exactly healthy, I know, but it's easier.

[The few times he's slept with Faustus (NOT LIKE THAT) it's a fair amount better. And while knowing Paloma was watching, although that may have been equal parts embarrassment for the way he is. Better to have someone else there, it's somehow reassuring.]

Ah, I know. Have you had tea with anyone this month?

I've heard that any tea drunk with someone else in the light of the moon is especially energizing, and having had some with friends from home, I can say that I haven't felt tired since. It may not last, but perhaps you ought to find someone to drink tea with.

That might be worth it. Even if it doesn't work, it's not a huge loss... -That's good you found your friends, too.

[He's used to it. The familiarity with it is almost nice. Except that actually having people concerned about him is frightening and annoying, but hey.]
